可理解性不仅是世界英语和英语通用语领域的核心概念之一,也是英语语音教学可达到的目标,然而国内研究却尚未涉及。本文系统回顾和梳理了60年来国外可理解性的研究成果,包括可理解性的内涵、可理解性的影响因素及可理解性的实证研究。研究比较了世界英语理论框架下Smith范式和英语通用语框架下Jenkins范式的可理解性研究的差异,分析了它们在研究设计和测量方式上的局限和未来研究趋向,进而探讨了可理解性对我国英语语音教学的启示。
Comprehension is not only one of the core concepts in the world of English and English linguistics, but also a target attainable in English phonetic teaching. However, it has not yet been studied in China. This dissertation systematically reviews and summarizes the research results of foreign understandability for 60 years, including the intension of intelligibility, the influencing factors of intelligibility and the empirical study of intelligibility. The study compares the differences of the understanding of the Jenkins paradigm under the framework of the World English Theoritical Paradigm and the English linguistic linguistics, and analyzes their limitations and future research trends in the research design and measurement methods, and then discusses the intelligibility Inspiration of English phonetic teaching in our country.
