上世纪80年代的农村题材话剧,在改革开放和思想解放的环境下,呈现出“五四精神”的回归,这一时期的农村题材话剧创作者表现出了积极的启蒙意识和审美创造意识。而80年代“戏剧观”的论争则极大鼓舞了农村题材话剧创作者的探索实验精神。于是,80年代农村题材的话剧呈现出了高度的现实主义精神与强烈的舞台探索热情相结合的风貌,由此诞生了一批卓有影响的作品,如《狗儿爷涅槃》、《桑树坪纪事》、《古塔街》等。
During the reform and opening up and the emancipation of the mind, the drama of rural themes in the 1980s showed a return to the spirit of the May Fourth Movement. The writers of rural drama in this period showed a positive sense of enlightenment and aesthetic creation awareness. In the 1980s, the controversy over the “dramatic view” greatly encouraged the exploratory experimental spirit of the writers in rural themes. As a result, the drama of rural areas in the 1980s showed a combination of highly realistic spirit and intense enthusiasm for stage exploration, resulting in a number of influential works such as “Nirvana of the Dog,” “Mulberry Ping Chronicle ”,“ Guta Street ”and so on.
