“听”是人们进行言语交际的重要手段,是学习英语的重要途径之一。里弗斯(Rivers)的研究表明,“听”占整个言语交际活动总量的45%。由此可见,训练听力有助于全面提高学生的英语交际能力。随着英语新教材的启用,加强学生的听力训练,提高学生听力理解水平,已经受到广大英语教师的高度重视。但是,笔者认为,目前初中英语的听力教学还处于起点阶段,距新课标所规定的目标尚有一定的距离。听力理解障碍何在?如何培养学生听英语的能力,提高他们的听力水平,笔者想就此略陈管见。
“Listening ” is one of the most important means for people to conduct verbal communication and one of the important ways to learn English. Rivers research shows that “listening” accounts for 45% of the total verbal communication activity. Thus, training listening helps to improve students’ English communication skills. With the opening of new English teaching materials, strengthening students ’listening training and improving students’ listening comprehension, they have received the great attention of the majority of English teachers. However, in my opinion, at present, the listening teaching of junior high school English is still at the starting stage, and there is a certain distance from the target set by the new curriculum standard. How to develop students’ ability to listen to English and improve their listening skills?
